Connections throughout the process of creating and producing She Has A Name consistently brought me wonder and joy. There is story after story of the right person at the right time and the right place, a sort of magnetism. It was so energetic that I started to watch for patterns or significance in relationships. I wasn’t looking for what we could get but what kind of partnership resulted when there was alignment. They were moments to sit up and take notice. It appeared something was happening collectively.
I believe when diverse people, open to authentic partnership, align there is an overflow, a bridging of time and space. It develops into something bigger than ourselves and becomes a collective story knit together by compassion and generosity of spirit. I saw this many times during the journey of this production; paradigms shifted in us, around us and through us.
